Trine Lise Nedreaas


Biography Trine Lise Nedreaas b. 1972, Bergen, Norway Trine Lise Nedreaas lives and works in London. She studied art history in Bergen, Norway, before moving to London where she started her art education at Central Saint Martin College of Art and Design 1994-95 and later at The Slade School of Fine Art, 1995–99. Nedreaas works in a variety of different media, including film, video, photography, installation and drawing, and public sculpture. Trine Lise Nedreaas’ work has been exhibited in a variety of places, including New York, Paris, Milan, Oslo, Tokyo, Seoul and Berlin, and she has shown her work in institutions like the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, PS1 MOMA in New York, Kunstwerke in Berlin, MACRO in Rome and Astrup Fearnley Museum in Oslo, Norway.

'Mac Donaldi - King of Soap Bubbles' 2009 Dimensions: Variable. No sound A mystical Macdonaldi appears as a god-like being, a master of his own universe. Omnipotent yet playful he creates mesmerizing smoke-filled bubbles that hover in the air before their brief existence draws to an inevitable close with a pop and a puff of smoke.
